Bitterwind is the solo project of Dana Berry, an Oakland musician who sings and drums in local heavy-pop outfit Night Herons. Cry Craven is the fourth Bitterwind release, following Delta Road, Time Without Light and the 2013 debut, Bleak Is Beautiful. Berry has played drums in LA band Forrest Lawn, Boston rock-punk trio Eugene & the Poseurs and SF's indie-folk combo Pancho-San among others.
